The Hour Lilies Project is a Malaysian social initiative founded by three professional women who paused their career paths to raise their young children. Returning to the workforce with a shared vision, they united to build an organization that seamlessly blends lived experience, parental empathy, and sustainable social impact.
Combining collective backgrounds in publishing, education, and strategic partnership, the team is uniquely equipped to support families navigating the modern world. Their personal journey as mothers and professionals drives their commitment to breaking down barriers in family education, ensuring that every parent receives the authentic guidance and support needed to help children thrive.
In a world that moves too fast, The Hour Lilies Project believes children need time and space to grow through stories, creativity, and meaningful relationships. Inspired by the classic tale Momo, where hour lilies represent time lived from the heart, we believe parenting centers on how we choose to spend our days. It is about giving ourselves and our children permission to pause and slow down. We support families in protecting these precious, quiet moments so that every child has the supportive environment to truly flourish.
The Hour Lilies Project PLT (Registration No: 202504000924) is dedicated to the social pillars of Education for All and Community Development.
Our operational model is built on a cross-subsidization principle:
Business Engine: We generate revenue through corporate sponsorships, screen-free physical activities, and the curation and sales of children's books.
Social Reinvestment: Corporate sponsorships, physical activities, and book sales fund free public access to our digital parenting content.
Our Goal: To empower the general public with the knowledge and creative tools necessary to build a safe, conducive, and nurturing environment for every child in Malaysia.
We dynamically evaluate our social footprint through three primary pillars:
Digital Awareness: Total view counts and consumption metrics of our parenting online content.
Physical Engagement: Total number of child and parent participants mobilized through our screen-free physical activities.
Community Growth: The continuous growth and active engagement rate of our social media community.
The Hour Lilies Project aims to reach 5,000 Malaysian parents (benefiting 10,000 children) by 2027 through our free digital resources and community-led events.
